چکیده
Most of the current parameterization schemes for Penman–Monteith–Leuning evapotranspiration (ET) model (PML) consider meteorological and energy factors land use types, but analysis effect soil moisture (SM) changes on ET processes lacks sufficient attention. This paper proposes a scheme sensitive parameters PML considering water content, i.e., coupling surface SM in calculation evaporation coefficient f root zone layer maximum stomatal conductance gsx, respectively. The new is validated at 13 flux sites worldwide showed significant improvements improving correlation with measured values. Moreover, based spatial distribution vegetation transpiration, between ET, regional characteristics are further revealed. study provides idea conducting fusion simulation model, which useful subsequent development model.

Root Zone Soil Moisture Retrieval Using Streamflow and Surface Moisture Data Assimilation in Nested Catchments
Correct knowledge of soil moisture is important for improving the prediction of coupled land surface atmosphere interactions. This is due to the control that soil moisture exerts on the latent and sensible heat flux transfer between the land surface and atmosphere. Because of this strong dependence on moisture availability, improved atmospheric prediction requires correct initialisation of soil...
متن کاملA physically based approach for the estimation of root-zone soil moisture from surface measurements: application on the AMMA database
In the present work, we present a new formulation for the estimation of the soil moisture in the root zone based on the measured value of soil moisture at the surface. The method sheds lights on the relationship between surface and root zone soil moisture. It derives from a simplified form of the soil water balance equation and provides a closed form of the relationship between the root zone an...

Estimation of Root-zone Soil Moisture Using Modis-derived Ndvi in Semiarid and Humid Conditions
In semiarid or arid conditions, the change of root-zone soil moisture can be almost instantaneously reflected by vegetation through biophysical process. This study investigated feasibility of mapping root-zone soil moisture using MODIS-derived NDVI via statistic approach at three sites (New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas) selected from the Soil Climate Analysis Network (SCAN). These three sites rep...
متن کاملUsing Soil Moisture Data to Estimate Evapotranspiration and Development of a Physically Based Root Water Uptake Model
In humid regions such as west-central Florida, evapotranspiration (ET) is estimated to be 70% of precipitation on an average annual basis (Bidlake et al. 1993; Knowles 1996; Sumner 2001). ET is traditionally inferred from values of potential ET (PET) or reference ET (Doorenabos and Pruitt 1977). PET data are more readily available and can be computed from either pan evaporation or from energy b...
